Class of 1997

Dear Fellow Classmates,
It was truly a pleasure seeing so many of you at our 10th year reunion this past April. We had a very nice turn out (24 alums and 13 guests) and the evening was delightful! I encourage you all to submit recent photographs, a short bio and/or contact information for posting on the reunion website.

Please submit all material to Ida Myers (ida.myers@med.nyu.edu). This is a great opportunity to extend the reunion and allow those unable to attend in person a chance to “catch up”.

Yes, it has really been 10 years already since our big day in Carnegie Hall! We had an awesome turn out for our 5th year reunion (greater attendance than the class having their 10th year!) and it was great seeing those who made the event. Those who were there can confirm that the Reunion banquets are truly gala affairs.

Lost Souls
We are without contact information for several people from our class:

  • Itzhak Avital
  • Evan Deutsch
  • Danilo Diaz
  • James Lee
  • Wesley Pruett

If you have contact information for any of these "lost" classmates (and they want to be "found"), please forward it to me and I'll be sure they receive all the Reunion announcements.

Also, I would love to include the MD PhDs who completed the first two formative years with us&emdash;if you have any contact info please pass it along to me or Nicole Iovine.

Contributing to the Reunion Website
We'll be collecting current photos as well as any information (professional and/or personal) that you care to share with the class. That way, even if classmates can't attend the event, they can still take in those Reunion good vibes via a "Class of 1997Reunion Website". If you have contributions please submit them to Ida Myers

If you have ideas about how to make the Reunion meaningful, please forward them!

Hope to see you all there!!
Best wishes, Edie
