As Alumni of the New York University School of Medicine or one of our Residency or Fellowship training programs, you are entitled to NYU Langone Medical Center MCIT Alumni Services. These services include an NYU Langone Medical Center alumni email address, access to the Alumni Digital Library (ADL), our Learning Management System (ALEX), and our iTunes U site with podcasts of thousands of lectures and materials.

You will not have access to any of the services listed below until your registration is approved.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a 2009 graduate and have not gone on to another role at the School or the Medical Center, access to your mailbox and its contents along with any other application access not part of the alumni program will be removed within 24 hours of your successfull enrollment. Make sure you transfer any data that you would like to keep from your old mailbox.

Alumni Email: When you register for these new services, you will automatically get an alumni email address in the form of firstname.lastname@alumni.med.nyu.edu. Any email sent to this address will be forwarded on to your email address that you entered during registration.

Alumni Digital Library: http://adl.med.nyu.edu/ The Alumni Digital Library provides access to full text journals, databases, NYU School of Medicine courseware, and essential library services such as interlibrary loan.

ALEX: http://alex.med.nyu.edu ALEX is the Learning Management System that serves as a central resource of online medical education content and computer-based learning activities. Every course, clerkship, and elective in undergraduate medical education has an ALEX site that supports teaching, learning and collaboration. By signing up for these services, you will have access to the entire current Medical School Curriculum.

iTUNES U: http://itunes.med.nyu.edu/ iTunes U is a free, hosted service provided by Apple for universities that provide easy access to educational content, including lectures and video. Through iTunes U, you can download and view class lectures and more to your Mac or PC, or transfer it to an iPod for listening or viewing on the go.

To log into the Alumni Digital Library, ALEX or iTunes U, use the links above and the username and password given to you as part of the registration process. If you are a recent graduate, this ID would be your kerberos/email ID.
