ROBERT D. AUERBACH, M.D., Class of 1958
Bob Auerbach is married to Arleen since 4 days after our graduation. They have two children (one of each gender), a pediatrician in public health and an architect who hopes to go back to teaching. The teaching came to a halt with the birth of twins (one of each gender) 2 ½ years ago. That made a total of five grandchildren for the Auerbachs. Arleen is a geneticist who has been widely recognized and honored for her work in Fanconi’s anemia and cancer genetics. They live and work (still practicing) in Manhattan, have a country house in CT and do a lot of traveling. For the rest see excerpts from CV below.
